Camille Lacarriere-Keita

Camille Lacarrière-Keïta earned her PhD in 2024 in cell biology from the University of Sherbrooke. She studied the role of autophagy in intestinal cell differentiation using the Drosophila model. Her current research focuses on the combined use of drugs to induce a synergistic effect on GCase lysosomal trafficking and activity to improve PD-phenotypes of dopaminergic neurons, carrying GBA PD-risk variants or harboring a reduced expression of lysosomal PD-risk genes such as CTSB and TMEM175.
